RIP

This is a post in memory of my Grandmother who passed away, Saturday, October 16, 2010, it's taken me awhile but I feel I'm ready now to post about it.  It didn't feel right to put anything else up until I had addressed this.

She was born in Rochester on May 30, 1927, the daughter of the late James and Ocenia Baker Chaplin and she attended schools there. In her younger years she enjoyed working in the family's floral business. She was at one time a model for Louise Boyka of Schenectady. Following her retirement she was known as Lady Lavender at Saratoga Raceway and a spokeswoman for many years. She was avid visitor of the Turning Stone Casino and loved to play the lottery. In everything Bessie did she gave it her all and became an expert in it.

Pete's mom was nice enough to send flowers and I took a pic while they were still nice.
