This is a favorite of ours, I didn't use that much butter this time and you could tell.  It was a little dryer than I liked it. (Sorry the picture is a little dark, it was a little overcast when I took it)

So Pete just called to let me know another tree came down in our yard today and took out some power lines. How embarrassing is that? And why can't our landlord get someone to cut them down?

It is still snowing here.  I took this picture about an hour after Pete shoveled the deck.  There was about 3" already.

Usually these posts are taken off our deck but recently I had to go take some pictures of a unit one of our clients is interested in buying.  Part of my job was to notate the view so here it is.  Gotta love being able to see the slopes right from your window.  If you are wondering what those two track looking things are those are the magic carpets used by people who can't take the regular lift yet.  So in essence you can see the main hill and the baby hill from this unit.  Not too shabby....

Even though it's getting nicer here it still looks like the middle of winter in some places, for example the back door of the house out of Pete's studio.

As you can see, like the post states, there was a real tree on our house.  Thankfully no damage was done when it fell.

Here is a shot of the first snowboard Pete broke this season, it had a minor collision with a tree.  The one he's riding now is messed up but is still under warranty.  So Pete will get a new snowboard for next season since the new models will be out when we return it.
