Today I saw the first group of rafters go by the house. I can't believe the season is ready to kick off. The next couple of days are going to be cold and nasty from the looks of the weather report. Today Pete's training is inside, some knot tying then off to his first aid class in Dillon. When I called him to let him know about the other rafters he told me it had already started to sleet where he was and that isn't too far from here.
Today I plan on doing as much cooking as I can. Hopefully I'll be able to knock out the Moroccan Lentil soup, Tomato sauce and Apple Blueberry Crisp. I had apple on my list yesterday at the store and the smell reminded me so much of home I had to grab a bag.
