Silk Eggs

This item is from the linked blog, Our Best Bites.  I was starting my research for Easter and was wondering what I could do to make the decorated eggs cool.  So when I saw the picture of of the Silk Eggs I was really excited.

I started reading the "Directions" and almost passed out when I saw this....

 

I can't ever imagine cutting up a Christian Dior tie so I could decorate Easter Eggs.  

I'm hoping to try this next year but I'll be collecting scraps of silk to get my patterns.
