Pete was planning on hitting the mountain with Sheila today but she got called into work so Pete headed home to relax.  We had some food when he got here,

Biscuits & Sausage Gravy with Scrambled Eggs

I had Eggs on an English Muffin with Greens & Tomato

We watched the Nationwide race and had lunch, BLT's and Organic Tomato Soup

Then they hosted a Charity event where Legend Drivers come and compete in a 35 lap race.  Things were going good and everyone was having a great time but then a really nasty accident happened

Now mind you, all of the drivers competing in this event are between the ages of 55 and 73.  This was near fatal and it took forever to get them out of the cars and to hear that they were in stable condition at the hospital.  I made a comment to Pete about how they didn't have the proper equipment in the cars.  They even showed someone not waering a helmet, so I hope he wasn't running that way.  Scary and thankfully everyone is going to be OK.
