Grey Gardens Memoir

I don't know how many of you have seen the movie Grey Garden's with Drew Barrymore or the original documentary from 1975 but I loved both of them.  The film depicts the everyday lives of the two Edith Beales, a reclusive socialite mother and daughter of the same name who lived at Grey Gardens, a decrepit mansion in the wealthy Georgica Pond neighborhood of East Hampton, NY.  Jackie O, who was their niece/cousin, saved them and restored the house so they could be allowed to stay there.

So I read that 'Little Edie' as she is known is having her diary published.  She was only 11 when she wrote it but as you can see they lived a pretty colorful life.  Should be a good read.
