This is was something that Pete tried to get me to do last year. Thankfully I wasn't good enough to get to the water and we missed the weekend that they held it anyway.
Since it is coming up soon, the Spring Back to Vail festival, I thought I would share my fear with everyone. This is a video from last year: " World Pond Skimming Championship"
I can't even imagine doing it. It's beyond embarrassing, you get ALL your gear wet and I'm not sure that I could make it down the ramp without falling and the jump looks terrifying.
