I'm really trying to make as much stuff as I can so it's not full of preservatives so the first one I wanted to tackle was Tomato Sauce. We eat a decent amount of pasta so this one should save us a good amount of money too.
I've attached the "recipe", it's from Everyday Italian on the Food Network.
Step 1: Mise en place - Get everything into order. Cut all veggies and get everything you'll need ready to go.
Step 2: Sautee Veggies
Step 3: Add veggie to the canned, seasoned tomatoes
Step 4: Cook, Cook, Cook
Step 5: Blend for a smooth sauce and get ready to freeze
